Just got into Portland today. Where footbag was born.
Jammed with Scott Bevier, Sam Colclough, James Jansen, Red Husted, and Nasty Nate Linscott. Scott was awesome as always. This one run with... everything? Red was pulling off some janiwalkers. Nick Landes has back pain but I think we will stick around until their next big shred session and hope that he's feeling it. They played some epic Street Fighter 4. Apparently Red owns. It makes me want to play because I never got into that game and it seems pretty classic. Anyway. I played okay. Oh, man, it was sick to finally meet Nate. I did a couple okay things. I ended a neat combo with blurry rev whirl > pdx blender > hand catch. I was, like, "No way". I did symp rev whirling butterfly first try (with a BSOS attempt). Also whirling swirl first try -- I was, like, hand catch yeah. I don't really have much left to say. Sam gave me and Jenn tarot cards or something. Haha. Wicked. Love that guy. We watched Dawn of the Shred. I'm in it. We were all three in it, actually, Bevier, Nate, and me. Cool. Gonna play every day. Hacky I mean. Shred house is fun.
