SHRED SESSION: 20081104:
Well, Manna and I played the other day. It was a really bad session since neither of us had really played since a week and a half before-ish. I felt it in my shins and knees for sure. So we ended up keeping it light and doing swirl stuff quite a bit. Nothing significant at all. A 98-contact run and a 92-contact -- nothing great in either run. I wanna push 200 some time. Yeah. That's basically it. I'm looking forward to playing again and reconditioning my legs so I'm pain-free again. Marita is here for a month though, and so I kind of don't wanna play for this month; I think Saturday will depend on whether Andrew shows or not.

I had a sudden urge just now to go to New Years Jam in Chicago. It's a super bad time for me, since my family is really big on family time at Christmas... I'm gonna think on it though.

Comments:
Hey Erik, I've never actually looked at the Metal Gear Solid books, how are they? Any good? I'm a big fan of the games, and wonder if these go a little more in depth about the actual story line?

andrew's not gonna show. I have too many papers to write and a frined of mine died the other day, i'll be busy.

I'm sorry to hear that, Andrew! Hugs! I look forward to shredding with you in the future.

Joshua: Which Josh is this? The MGS books are wicked. I am a huge fan of MGS, but more a huge fan of Ashley Wood, so this is like heaven for me. There isn't any more to the stories, really, but they do accent some important plot stuff that I missed from the games (although no "I need scissors 61!", unfortunately).

This is Josh Munstermann Erik. Thanks for the insight, I might look into buying these in the future.
